POLICY TITLE: FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE ACT POLICY

REFERENCE: 29 CFR 825.301(A) U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR

1.0 PURPOSE:

The purpose of this policy is to identify the U.S. Department of Labor Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) as the policy of the District regarding family and medical leave for full-time employees of the District that have been employed by the District for (12) twelve months or more and have worked at least (1,250) one thousand-two hundred-fifty hours during the (12) twelve months prior to taking FMLA leave.
