POLICY TITLE: AT-WILL EMPLOYMENT

Employment at Yakima County Fire District 12 (the “District”) is “at will.” This means that the employment relationship is voluntary and may be terminated by either party at any time with or without cause, and with or without notice (although we prefer that you give at least two weeks’ notice and will endeavor to provide you with the same two weeks notice). Any representations to the contrary are void unless contained in a written employment contract.
